Soap Scum is a group of Winnipeg based actors who produce and perform a live improvised soap opera, based on a theme. Guided by a Director/Narrator, and featuring live musical accompaniment, the cast creates a new unscripted episode each week, in a continuing storyline.

Randy 'The Brain' Apostle

Randy's job in the troupe is not for the faint of heart.
He has all of a week to figure out what happened in the last episode...figure out where he is heading with this weeks episode...only too change whatever he may have had in mind because the last scene changed the entire plot...got it? Directing a show with no script is not easy.

Yeah... I still have no idea how he does it every week.

Timmy Cranwill - Music Director/Narrator

Just who and what is Timmy Cranwill? That's a question we are all still
asking ourselves...
Joining the crew in season 2 of Soap Scum Presents...Space Quest.
He spent most of the season playing the Ships computer.
We seriously just threw him to the wolves and he just fit in so well we
wouldn't let him leave.
I really couldn't tell you how many hours Timmy puts into all of his magic that he throws at us each week, I just know that it must be a lot.

He sits in the shadows narrating all of Randy's creative insanity and is still able to play guitar, keyboards, and find sound effects to toss into a scene when he wants to crack us up...boy can multitask like a super hero.
He is an essential part of the machine we call Soap Scum
